Caribena versicolor (Antilles Pink-toe) Tarantula

The Antilles Pinktoe Tarantula (Caribena versicolor) is one of the most striking arboreal species in the hobby, displaying vivid metallic blue and purple hues as a juvenile that mature into a dazzling mix of turquoise, red, and green as an adult. Native to the tropical forests of Martinique in the Caribbean, this species thrives in warm, humid environments with plenty of vertical space. Known for its docile temperament and graceful movements, it’s an excellent display tarantula that adapts well to captive conditions. With proper care, females can live up to 10–12 years, making it a long-term and rewarding pet for intermediate keepers.
