In the wild, C. cyaneopubescens inhabits dry thorn forests near the Paraguaná Peninsula, constructing silk-lined retreats at the base of shrubs, under rocks, or within abandoned burrows where airflow is constant and rainfall minimal. Its combination of intense coloration, prolific webbing behavior, and hardy adaptability make it a favorite among both display keepers and breeders.
